That’s why we’ve been getting asked more and more often lately whether our CBD products can be combined – and what to keep in mind when doing so. This article is here to answer exactly those questions!

Can our nacani CBD products be combined?

First of all: Of course, all nacani products can be combined. You can give both CBD oil and CBD treats, or complement our herbal blends with the oil and treats – depending on what works best for your pet and what fits best into your daily routine. Naturally, you can also switch things up and use different CBD products on different days.

What Should I Keep in Mind When Combining Multiple CBD Products?

Basic Principles of CBD Dosing for Animals

If you want to use multiple CBD products, you should always keep a rough overview of how much CBD your dog is allowed to have per day. This depends primarily on your animal’s body weight.

We recommend a daily CBD dosage of approximately 0.5 to 1 mg per kilogram of body weight for dogs. Ideally, this daily amount should be divided into at least two portions throughout the day to help maintain a consistent CBD level in the body.

By the way, this dosage recommendation is just a general guideline. Every animal is unique, and CBD affects each body a little differently. So take it slow and see which dosage works best for your pet.

If you’re using CBD products for the first time, it’s best to start with the lower end of the recommended range and gradually increase it as needed.

And don’t worry, you can’t go too wrong here. Even higher CBD doses don’t cause serious side effects and, at worst, might lead to symptoms like loss of appetite, drowsiness, or diarrhea. If you notice any of these signs in your dog, just reduce the dose slightly and increase it more gradually once your pet’s body has adjusted to the new product.

Our CBD oil is a full-spectrum oil that is 100% natural and made entirely from hemp. Due to the terpenes it contains, it is not suitable for cats.

Combining CBD Products for Your Pet

So much for the theory. If you want to use multiple CBD products, you just need to do a little bit of math. Once you know how much CBD your pet can have per day, you just need to check how much CBD is in each unit of the products you plan to use.

Examples of possible combinations

To better illustrate the possible combinations, let’s go through it using the example of Matilda, a 30-kilogram Weimaraner female. The recommended daily CBD dosage for her is between 15 and 30 milligrams of CBD.

Assuming Matilda has never tried CBD before, we’ll start with the lower dosage – around 15 mg per day. There are many ways she can receive these 15 mg of CBD, for example:

• 3 drops of oil in the morning (5 mg of CBD), 3 nacanis during the day (9 mg of CBD) and 1 nacani at night (3 mg of CBD).
• 5 drops of 2.8 % CBD oil for breakfast (5 mg of CBD), 5 drops of 2.8 % CBD oil for lunch (5 mg of CBD) and 5 drops of 2.8 % CBD oil for dinner (5 mg of CBD).
• 1 tablespoon of LESS STRESS in the morning (8 mg of CBD), 3 nacani MINIS during the day (3 mg of CBD) and 2 drops of 5.6 % CBD oil at night (4 mg of CBD).

As you can see, there are endless possibilities. It all depends on which products you prefer to use and when each product is most convenient for you to handle. Most of our customers like to give the oil at home and use the treats while on the go.
